Lisa Edwards, Occupational Therapist

Lisa is an Occupational Therapist with over 20 years experience providing services to children and families. She has been privileged to work with many different individuals who have presented with a variety of needs including children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD; Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD)/Dyspraxia; children presenting with Sensory processing challenges and children with avoidant/restrictive food intake or “fussy eaters”.

Lisa provides flexible, professional services using contemporary and evidence based approaches to partner with families and others in the children’s care team, such as teachers, to enable your child to grow to their fullest potential.

Lisa can see your child at their home, kinder, school, childcare or community venues; and will partner with you to help identify and achieve meaningful goals for your child and family.  This may including looking after themselves (self-care) and participation in kinder, school or leisure activities.

Lisa is AHPRA registered, has a Working with Children Check and is a member of OT Australia.

Lisa is fortunate enough to share her home with her wonderfully supportive husband and 2 adolescent boys, as well as a cat, a dog and 3 chickens.  Lisa loves spending time with family and friends, and staying active and mindful with Yoga, Pilates, cycling, basketball, photography and spending time in the outdoors including gardening, camping, walking and travelling.
